| Municipalities will have more time to fill in the school transport enquiry |
For technical reasons related to the large number of users accessing the Inep and FNDE websites, around 300 municipalities able to answer the 1st National Enquiry on School Transport have not yet done so. For this reason, the form will still be made available for as long as this difficulty persists. This decision was taken by FNDE/MEC, program managers, and by Inep/MEC, responsible for the enquiry.
Municipalities who do not send their information will have their fund from the National Program of School Transport (Pnate), from the FNDE, withdrawn, until the situation is resolved. This year, the Pnate fund is expected to be of R$ 265 million which will be sent to the municipalities in order to cover the expenses of school transport for students from rural areas who are in primary education. The fund is of R$ 80 per student/year, divided in nine parts and sent during the months of April through December.

| Enade will have an expressive participation from all regions of Brazil |
The Enade 2005 will be held next Sunday, November 6, with the participation of more than 340 thousand students, incoming and graduating, from Institutes of Higher Education throughout Brazil. The largest number of participants is from the Southeast region, with 163,137 students selected to take the exam. The North region will have the lowest number of participants, with a total of 20,591 students. See map below for more details.
Enade participation map by region
|
| Enade exams will be the same for incoming and graduating students |
The Enade exams will be the same for incoming and graduating students of the same course. There will be objective and discursive questions, where 10 will be on general topics (common to all 20 areas) and 30 specific (by area). 1 hour and 30 minutes after the beginning of the exam (14h30), students will be allowed to leave with the exam question notebook.
The answers to the objective questions will be divulged, starting at 17 hours, through the Inep website, on the same day of the exam, November 6. The correction of the discursive questions will be released in at least 15 days after the exam. Inep has 6 months to divulge the results of the Enade, which means, until May 2006.
|
| Only justification for missing the Enade is with medical attestation |
With the proximity of the Enade, which will be held next Sunday, 6, the national coordination of the exam informs that the only justification for a student from an Institute of Higher Education to not participate in the exam is with a medical attestation, registered in the register office, confirming the necessity of medical care and rest. This document (original) must be sent through mail, with RN (Receive Notice), to the address of the National Coordination of the Enade: Esplanada dos Ministérios, Bl. L – Anexo II, 4º Andar, sala 411.
The national coordination of the Enade states also that travels, contest participations or job interviews will not be considered a justification for not participating in the exam.
